SOMETHING SPECIAL Idea For September Borns

Sapphires, gemstones of the skies, are hidden in the hard earth of our so-called “blue world.” A historical belief says that the sky offers its color from representation of the blue sapphire stone onto that your globe rested. Sapphire belongs to the non-red variety of corundum group (red is ruby) & is the second hardest natural mineral, after diamond. It is given a 9.0 on the Mohs size of hardness. Although sapphires come in many colors including white, purple, colorless, green & sunset hues like orange, yellowish & red, but blue remains the main color.

Many women go for sapphire for their engagement bands as this color indicates endurance & fidelity. Which is “best” is highly subjective & depends upon individual choice also. Usually the most desired sapphires are people that have an extreme blue color, & plenty of sparkle and life. Their beauty, magnificent colors, their transparency, hardness & permanence are those qualities which will make sapphires favorite for gemstone jewelry.

Sapphires are used in all categories such as rings, earrings, pendants & necklaces, as solitaire stones etc. For the month of September Sapphire is the official birthstone. It is one of the birthstones for the Zodiac signs of Pisces also, Taurus, and Virgo & Sagittarius. Sapphire is given as a jewel for the 5th, 23rd & 45th wedding anniversaries. Sapphire is believed to have the power of religious enlightenment.

It was believed a sapphire would protect the person from envy & entice divine favors. This was the good reason behind which kings used to wear sapphires. It symbolizes loyalty and faithfulness also, while at the same time expressing love & yearning. When exchanged with a loved one, sapphires enhance emotions for one another and attune the two psyches.

The value of the sapphire depends on size, color & transparency. For very fine characteristics these requirements are supplemented by information on the foundation of the gemstone. Another pricing factor is a possible treatment. A rock that has not been treated becomes more valuable. The most effective sapphires are real Kashmir rocks. Almost as highly cherished are rocks from Burma, followed by Ceylon-Sapphires. Sapphires are also within India, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Africa, and Brazil. Excellent sapphires, however, remains a rarity in the gemstone mines all over the world.

Some face masks will offer a complementary benefit beyond that (depending on the product and your type of skin). But they’re not essential to good pores and skin health, she says. One challenge to weighing in on how much advantage face masks can deliver is that they’re not rigorously tested in the same way drugs are, points out Tyler Hollmig, MD, director of Aesthetic and Laser Dermatology at Stanford Health Care.

  • Shipping & Handling System
  • 2 Tablespoon ground coffee
  • This must-have concealer includes a soft brush-tip for easy application
  • ‘Circle of Life’ –
  • Note skin color and feel temperature of the skin
  • Darker, thicker scars more common

Face masks occlude the skin, meaning you’re creating a barrier between the air around you and the product in the face mask that’s meant to be sent to the skin. So, rather than some of that product evaporating into the air around you (as happens with moisturizers and other creams you rub onto your face), that product has nowhere to go but into the epidermis, Hollmig explains. And it means they tend to work fast, too, adds Khetarpal.

Because of their occlusive design, face masks are good to moisturize the skin. For that good reason, it’s much more likely that face masks claiming they moisturize your skin will actually do that, Hollmig says. He suggests looking for masks with basic elements, being wary of fragrances, which tend to make something smell good, but normally don’t have a benefit to your skin and can be annoying (more on that below).

Face masks deliver substances deeper and more potently to your skin than other styles of applications, so whatever they’re going to do to your skin layer, they’ll take action more than other types of products quickly. That means they might provide a magic pill for complaints like redness, dryness, oiliness, and inflammation, Khetarpal says. But keep in mind, how long you’ll see the advantage of a face mask depends upon the source of the problem.

Clay cover up can temporarily help reduce oiliness, Khetarpal points out. But because essential oil production is powered by hormones, that advantage will be short-lived relatively, she says. And don’t believe because something is natural it is harmless, Hollmig adds. Many fruit-based products contain alpha hydroxy acids (because it’s normally in apples, pears, citrus, and other fruits); salicylic acidity comes from sugar cane.
